> 10-02-2013: Florennes Airshow 2012 Report
|
Florennes Air Base was the host for
the 2012 edition of the Belgian Air Force Airshow which was organized
the last weekend of June. As this was the only airshow organized by
the Belgian Defense, a great variety of aircraft attended the show.
Some of the real highlights came from the former East-block in the
form of 2 Polish Su-22’s and Slowak Mig-29, both in the flying
display. Next to these interesting fighter birds, a full program of
more than 8 hours of air-action was presented to the visiting public.
During the days before the show, we were able to perform some photoshoots
while the aircraft were transiting to Florennes. |

> 15-01-2013: Polish Airpower Report
|
The Polish Air Force has made a large
transformation past decades following the Cold War. In the beginning
of the 90s, the Polish Air Force existed of Russian-built hardware
existing primarily of Mig-21s, Mig-23s, Mig-29s, Su-20s and Su-22s.
Gradually the number of Jets decreased and nowadays only the Mig-29
and the Su-22 Fighters are kept flying through the Polish Skies. In
2002, Poland chose Lockheed Martin F-16C/D Block 52 as its new multirole
fighter, safeguarding the future of the Air Force. During the past
years, we have had the honor to work together with the Polish Air
Force during photoshoots with the mighty Su-22 and Mig-29. |

> 29-12-2012: German Air Force Phantom Report
|
The F-4 Phantom is one of those iconic
aircraft we can still see flying through the European skies, being
operated by the Hellenic, Turkish and German Air Force. Unfortunately
the end of the Luftwaffe Phantom is coming closer, so we take every
opportunity to capture these extraordinary birds in the sky while
we still can. During the recent years we were very lucky to perform
multiple photoshoots with the last flying Rhinos of JG-71 “Richthofen”.

> 26-09-2012: Fashion & Aviation combined
- Peter Kleynen Report |
Thanks to photographer Peter Kleynen
this combination became reality on the 'Photoflying Days' at Zoersel.
The main idea was to combine all the unique planes that come to Zoersel,
with today's fashion. Peter contacted Petra Vanhoren, a stylist who
was totally into this cool idea of 'vintage' styling. After preparing
the necessary mood boards, they casted their models. Out of 385 models
they picked out 2; Laura Antonacci and Katleen Dekort. The first Photoflying
team was fact, check out the report of Peter Kleynen! |

> 10-09-2012: Photoflying Days 2012 Report
|
| The 2012 edition of the Photoflying
Days was earmarked to be an even bigger success after the two previous
events. This year also marked the 10th anniversary of the APCK fly-in
which had to be celebrated in style. The highlight of this year’s
event was to be the visit of the Breitling Super Constellation which
would be the first visit to Belgium of this aircraft type in 37 years.
Unfortunately after all the great effort the Breitling Super Constellation
Flyers Association did to get their special aircraft to Malle airfield,
they unfortunately had to cancel only one week before the event due
to engine problems. Luckily the organization was able to send their
DC-3 Dakota as a credible replacement for the Connie. |
